Purpose

AG CONNECT EXPO provides a world-class international forum for agriculture industry professionals to share global agricultural ideas and management trends. AG CONNECT Expo features exhibits of the latest industry innovations, products and technology as well as a comprehensive education program and extensive networking opportunities with industry experts worldwide.

Dates and Location – Next Show

The next AG CONNECT Expo will be held in 2011 – January 8-10, 2011 (Preview Day January 7) at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Attendees

AG CONNECT Expo is geared toward producers, dealers, distributors, manufacturers and others who participate in the agricultural sector, in North America and worldwide.

Exhibits

AG CONNECT Expo features the latest innovations and technologies in agribusiness products and services, including equipment as well as integrated technology such as precision farming; inputs such as seed, fertilizer and crop protection; and services such as insurance, financing and software.

Education

Education is a key focus of AG CONNECT Expo, and the event offers an industry-targeted educational program with internationally recognized speakers. Sessions focus on some of agriculture’s most important business management issues such as high-tech farming, safe equipment operation, alternative fuels, alternative energy sources, general management issues for efficiency and issues pertinent to family-run businesses.

Show Owner and Producer

Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is show owner and producer.

Background

AEM has a long history of successful trade show ownership and management with both North American-based and overseas exhibitions, and it is known for its philosophy of producing shows that are run by the industry and for the benefit of the industry. With the increasingly global and dynamic environment of the agriculture industry, the member companies of AEM felt it was an ideal time in 2008 to launch AG CONNECT Expo, and the inaugural show, held in January 2010, was a great success. After the 2011 show, AG CONNECT Expo will be held on an every-other-year cycle to better align with other global ag events.

AEM is the U.S. based international trade group representing the off-road equipment manufacturing industry, and its members manufacture equipment, products and services used worldwide in the agriculture, construction, forestry, mining and utility sectors. Core AEM services include technical and safety activity, public policy representation, equipment statistics and market information, trade shows, international business development services, education and training, safety/educational materials and workforce development.
